Jump into the Fog. Polaroid edition

Every single winter I say the same thing: This year I will not wear the Ugg boots! 

The fact is that I would like to wear something that is warm and, at the same time, sophisticated. 

But I don't want something that makes me look like an astronaut!

Then I wake up in the morning, I start to feel the first cold and the only thing that makes me to leave my bed is the idea to wear something warm but, first of all, comfortable. And here's how every year I fall into a trap and I wear those warm and hairy boots. 

In the end, if they are correctly worn, I think they make lots of different outfit interesting. 

I don't think I would wear them with skirts or shorts, like lots of other girls do, but I think that those boots, worn with a pair of skinny jeans, a colored tee (This is from Desigual) and a cardigan with sophisticated details (in this case with lace trims, from Twin Set), are perfect with this type of outfit which wants to be casual and chic at the same time.

Indeed I wanted to get dressed in a comfortable way without being ordinary, so I added a frock coat, a tubular woollen grey scarf and a leather handbag from Michael Kors.

And this is the result!

I'm very curious about what is your relationship with this type of footwear: Do you love or hate them? or maybe both?

Ogni inverno mi ripeto sempre la stessa cosa: Quest'anno non indosserò gli Ugg! 

Il fatto è che vorrei indossare qualcosa che mi faccia restare al caldo e che, al tempo stesso, sia sofisticato.

Ma soprattutto qualcosa che NON mi faccia assomigliare ad un astronauta!

Poi alla mattina mi sveglio. Il freddo inizia a farsi sentire e l'unica cosa che mi fa abbandonare il mio letto è l'idea di indossare qualcosa di caldo ma soprattutto comodo. Ed ecco che ogni anno cado in trappola e infilo i miei piedi in quei caldi scarponcini pelosi.

Alla fine, se indossati nella maniera corretta, credo rendano interessanti molti tipi di outfit.

Non so se riuscirei mai ad indossarli con gonne o pantaloncini corti, come in molte fanno, ma credo che con un paio di skinny jeans, assieme ad una maglia colorata (in questo caso di Desigual) e ad un cardigan dai profili sofisticati (in questo caso con dettagli in pizzo di Twin Set), facciano funzionare un outfit di questo tipo, che vuole essere casual e chic allo stesso tempo.

Avevo infatti voglia di vestirmi in maniera comoda ma allo stesso tempo non banale, così ho aggiunto ad un cappotto redingote, una sciarpa tubolare in lana grigia e una borsa in pelle nera di Michael Kors.

Ed ecco qui il risultato!

Sono curiosa di sapere quale sia il vostro rapporto con questo tipo di calzature: amore, odio oppure entrambi ?
