Look of the day: "Kaleidoscope stripes and sparkles"

It's shocking how our style (and taste) can change day by day without realizing it, indeed only now I discover how cool are striped socks in plain sight. I think they are the perfect way to downplay an outfit for the day, especially if they are matched with items that normally are used for a night outfit. 

In this case, for "night items", there are the petroleum blue platform by Stradivarius and the sparkling sweater by Max and Co. Taking them individually, they are both perfect for a night look: The platform, there is no need to say anything more because they are perfect for a disco night, and the Sparkling sweater, worn over a high-waist artificial leather skirt with a pair of ankle boots, is perfect for a night out with the girls.

But in this case, wearing them together with a pair of rolled jeans, an oversize sweater worn as a coat, and with striped socks in plain sight, create an excellent result for a day look. An outfit which is casual, but at the same time, has an edge over the usual comfy look.

E'sconvolgente come il nostro stile (e così il nostro gusto) possa cambiare giorno dopo giorno senza che noi ce ne accorgiamo, tant'è vero che solo ora ho scoperto la bellezza delle calze a righe indossate a vista. Credo siano il modo perfetto per sdrammatizzare un outfit da giorno, in particolare se abbinate a capi che normalmente utilizziamo per creare outfit perfetti per la sera.

In questo caso, come "articoli da sera", abbiamo le platform blu petrolio di Stradivarius e la felpa con applicazioni strass di Max and Co. Prendendo individualmente questi capi, se abbinati correttamente, sono perfetti per un look da sera. Sulle platform infatti non c'è nulla da dire perchè sono perfette per una serata in discoteca, riguardo la felpa con strass, se abbinata a una gonna a vita alta in ecopelle e ad un paio di ankle boots, è perfetta per una serata con le amiche.

In questo caso invece, indossati entrambi i capi con un paio di jeans arrotolati, un maglione oversize utilizzato come cappotto e calze a righe ben in vista creano un risultato perfetto per un look da giorno. Un outfit casual ma con quel qualcosa in più.
